welcome to my portfolio!

My name is Marianna de Souza, a Brazilian who recently moved to Lisbon to embark on a new journey and pursue a career change to UX/UI.

With a background in architecture, I spent the past 6 years as an interior-furniture-and-architecture designer while also managing my steel design furniture company.

During this time, I honed my attention to detail, comprehensive problem-solving approach, and ability to understand and communicate effectively with people. However, a year ago, I decided to pivot my career towards a field that combines my passions for people and technology: UX/UI Design.

Collaboration and creativity are the foundation of my work, and I thrive in team environments.

After a year of self-study, I enrolled in a UX/UI Bootcamp to challenge myself further. Through this experience, I discovered my professional calling and realized that I love creating interfaces that not only look amazing but are also intuitive and user-friendly.

My expertise lies in User Research, User-Centered Design, Wireframing, and Prototyping, ensuring that every interface I design meets the highest standards.

I'm truly a travel enthusiast at heart, and nothing makes me happier than exploring new cultures and destinations around the world.
Traveling fuels my passion for meeting people, understanding their perspectives, and learning from them.

Art is another area that I'm deeply passionate about, especially watercolor painting, which I find incredibly therapeutic and enjoyable.

For me, travel, people, and art are more than just hobbies; they're sources of inspiration and fulfillment that drive me every day.
