who am i?

I’m Marianna, a UX/UI designer based in Lisbon.
With a background in architecture, I spent the past 6 years as an interior-furniture-and-architecture designer while also managing own company.

During this time, I honed my attention to detail, comprehensive problem-solving approach, and ability to understand and communicate effectively with people. My experience managing complex projects from concept to execution has taught me the invaluable skill of translating client visions into tangible results.

However, two years ago, I decided to pivot my career towards a field that combines my passions for people and technology: UX/UI Design.

Collaboration and creativity are the foundation of my work, and I thrive in team environments.

After a year of self-study, I enrolled in a UX/UI Bootcamp to challenge myself further. Through this experience, I discovered my professional calling and realized that I love creating interfaces that not only look amazing but are also intuitive and user-friendly.

I have been trained to be proficient when working remotely while dealing with complex projects and strict deadlines. During my career, I learned how to collaborate well with cross-functional partners, including product managers and engineers. I am also used to combining my versatile experience with my ability to connect with people to create the best work environment with my team.

My expertise lies in User Research, User-Centered Design, Wireframing, and Prototyping, ensuring that every interface I design meets the highest standards.

When I’m not designing, you can find me traveling, scouting out local cafés, or making some sort of watercolor art. For me, travel, people, and art are more than just hobbies; they're sources of inspiration and fulfillment that drive me every day.

I’d love to hear your story!
